(ANSA) – VIBO VALENTIA, 21 JAN – The mobile squad of the Vibo Valentia police station denounced the alleged perpetrators of the two serious episodes of violence based on slapping and shoving which took place last November 25, on the international day against violence against women, in Piazza Municipio, in the city center: there are nine minors and one adult. On that occasion, some girls, all minors, for futile reasons, after a heated discussion, had begun to beat each other violently, so much so that one of them was forced to seek medical attention from the emergency room of the city hospital.
The images, passed to the scrutiny of the policemen, made it possible to reconstruct the episode showing two young people who pushed and slapped each other, with the intervention of a boy – later identified as an adult – who, after reaching one of the two behind , pulled her by the hair making her fall to the ground. On the same day, in another street in the city center, a small group of boys, also minors, after making fun of a mutual friend, struck the same and another boy who intervened in his defense who was in turn hit with kicks and punches.
The investigative activities, coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office for Minors of Catanzaro, made it possible to shed light on the two episodes and on the involvement of the adult.
