(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 21 JAN – The Fvg passes in the orange zone together with Abruzzo, Piedmont and Sicily. This was decided by the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, in the light of the weekly monitoring data, by signing a new ordinance which also provides for the passage of Puglia and Sardinia in yellow.
Meanwhile, in the region there are 4,712 new infections registered and 6 deaths. On 11,094 molecular swabs, 1,324 new infections were detected (11.9%). In addition, 18,158 rapid antigenic tests were carried out, from which 3,388 cases (18.6%) were detected. There are 40 people admitted to intensive care, 34 of whom are not vaccinated and patients hospitalized in other departments drop to 426. The most affected age group is 40-49 years (18%).
Today there are 6 deaths of people between the ages of 75 and 88. The deaths totaled 4,388 of which 1,061 in Trieste, 2,132 in Udine, 830 in Pordenone and 365 in Gorizia.
The totally healed are 166,727, the clinically healed 735, the people in isolation are 57,762. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Fvg, a total of 230,078 people have been positive, of which: 51,649 in Trieste, 96,414 in Udine, 53,036 in Pordenone, 25,556 in Gorizia and 3,423 from outside the region. Positivities were found in the Giuliano Isontina University Health Authority; in the Friuli Centrale University Healthcare Company; in the Western Friuli health authority; in the maternal-child IRCCS Burlo Garofolo; in the Cro di Aviano; in the regional coordination company (Arcs). With regard to residences for the elderly, the infection of 79 guests and 69 operators was recorded. Finally, there are 4 cases of return from abroad or from another region. (HANDLE).
