(ANSA) – NAPLES, 22 JAN – After almost three days of searching, the Fire Brigade found the lifeless body of the young fisherman who disappeared in Torcino in Ciorlano, in the province of Caserta.

The man, 38, lived in Castelpagano, in the province of Benevento. Three nights ago he had fallen into the body of water after having ventured several meters from the shore in the dinghy to check if the line of his fishing rod was in place. A friend who was with him gave the alarm. Immediately mobilized, the Fire Brigade set up a local command unit at the place of the disappearance to coordinate the searches and, in addition to the ordinary team of the Piedimonte Matese detachment, the TAS unit also intervened.
