(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, JANUARY 25 – Alarm last night in Porta Castiglione, in Bologna, after some people armed with a gun were reported in front of a Carrefour supermarket. Witnesses also heard explosions, apparently gunshots. The police rushed with several patrols and also anti-terrorism units: the agents quickly identified a trio of men, one of whom was in possession of the weapon, which turned out to be a ‘scacciacani’ but without the mandatory red cap.
A dozen exploded shells were found on the ground. The gun was confiscated and the three identified: they were two Romanians aged 57 and 51 and a Moldovan aged 23. All were denounced for alarm, the 57-year-old also for the illegal carrying of the gun and the 51-year-old for not respecting a ban on returning to Bologna. The position of the three is now being examined by the immigration office of the Police Headquarters. (HANDLE).
