(ANSA) – MILAN, JANUARY 26 – The basic unions – Cub Trasporti, Flai Ts, Adk and Usb Lavoro Privato – have announced two 24-hour strikes by the workers of Sea, the management company of the Linate and Malpensa airports, to Thursday 3 February and Friday 18 February, to protest against the company’s decision to outsource the sector of IT workers.

Just yesterday the same trade unions had implemented a garrison under Palazzo Marino, seat of the Municipality, currently the majority shareholder of the SEA. According to the workers’ organizations “the sale of information systems is only the beginning of the dismemberment of Sea and its workers” and for this reason the fight is “against the sale of the ICT department and against the outsourcing of activities”. “It is clear – they conclude – that the aim is to complete the privatization of Sea and its dismemberment, piece by piece, and the sale of all workers. In the near future, no one will be able to escape this business model”. (HANDLE).
