“As of today, only among the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People, 17 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded. Also, according to our information, 45 employees of the parliament’s apparatus are sick with coronavirus. 2-3 new cases of infection are recorded daily,” she wrote. she.

According to her, for this reason, a meeting was initiated in the Verkhovna Rada with the participation of the heads of factions and groups, which will discuss the format of the work of the parliament next week.

At the same time, Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a people’s deputy from the Holos faction, said in his Telegram channel that the Verkhovna Rada could be quarantined until mid-February.

“Only the opening of the session, a few votes, and the Rada goes into quarantine until February 15. The reason is the large number of sick people,” he wrote.

He noted that the next plenary week could be limited to just the opening of the session and a few votes.
