The investigation by the financial police, coordinated by the Turin prosecutor’s office, which led to the complaint of fraud in public supplies of seven people speaks of this. These are the managers of a company that manages RSA throughout Northern Italy, especially in the hinterland of Turin and Milan, and the directors of two RSAs operating in the Piedmontese capital. The investigations were triggered by the complaints of the relatives of the elderly who died in the first phase of the pandemic within those structures. On the other hand, due to the absence of any tracking of patients, the accusations of epidemic and manslaughter, for which the same managers of the two RSAs in Turin were investigated, where over one hundred deaths occurred.
