Covid: Liguria, new cases and tampons fall, stable hospitalizations

(ANSA) – GENOA, 05 FEB – 2,478 new positives were recorded in the last 24 hours in Liguria, compared to 22,712 swabs of which 4,206 are molecular and 18,506 rapid antigen tests.

In Genoa the largest number of new cases (1,051), followed by Savona (531), Imperia (353), Tigullio (265) and La Spezia (259).

19 are the new cases not resident in Liguria. The total number of positive cases to date is 41,392 people, 3,423 fewer than yesterday.

722 hospitalized people and intensive care (31, of which 24 not vaccinated) are stable compared to yesterday. The number of people in home isolation is decreasing: today they are 40,659, 3,414 fewer than yesterday.

In two days, February 3 and 4, 4 people died: two women aged 85 and 95 and two men aged 58 and 82. The subjects under active surveillance fall below the ten thousand threshold: to date there are 9,482.

As for the vaccination campaign, 11,621 doses were administered in the last 24 hours. To date, the booster doses administered are 839,454. (HANDLE).
