(ANSA) – GENOA, 07 FEB – Accident on the A26 Genova Voltri – Gravellona Toce and temporarily closed section between Casale Monferrato Sud and the junction with the A21 towards Genoa.
According to reports from Autostrade per l’Italia, the accident involved four heavy vehicles and several cars.
On the affected section, fog with low visibility and a speed limit of 50 km / h was reported.
On site, medical and mechanical assistance, the Fire Brigade, the patrols of the Traffic Police and the staff of the 1st Section of Genoa of Autostrade per l’Italia.
Currently, within the closed section, traffic is blocked and there is a 4 km queue towards Genoa.
Users heading towards Genoa, after the Casale Monferrato Sud exit, are advised to take the ordinary road network and then return to the motorway in Alessandria Sud. (ANSA).
