New assembly of M5s deputies and senators this morning with the issue of covid and green pass on the agenda. During the meeting in the presence of the President Giuseppe Conte, the majority of 5-star parliamentarians would have requested, it is learned, not to proceed with further extensions of the state of emergency after 31 March and to suspend the green pass obligation. Not only that, many parliamentarians would have asked to immediately reshape the certificate by returning to the simple non-strengthened pass. The same simple green pass, he asks, should also be abolished outdoors, in the bank and at the post office.
“To say that we are out of the pandemic is not really correct, we are passing through the phase of the endemic. It is a prospect that comforts us but we must all agree that we cannot dismantle the precautionary and protective measures adopted up to now“, said the leader of the M5s, Giuseppe Conte, speaking in the assembly of the Movement in which many parliamentarians urged intervention to eliminate the green pass strengthened after the end of March.
