(ANSA) – TURIN, 02 MAY – Collective prayers for the conclusion of Ramadan are back in attendance. Thousands gathered this morning at Parco Dora, one of the popular events for the feast of ‘Id al-fitr in Turin.
“After two years of pandemic and fear we are all here together again – observes the imam of the Taiba Mosque in Turin Said Ait El Jide – In this holy month after the difficult affliction we have approached each other, in mosques relations they gathered together, people met, the laughter of children filled the squares and gardens despite the noises of wars and guns in the West and East.
We have hope in the merciful and ours is a hymn for permanent peace. The prophet – concludes the imama – said: ‘O people, spread peace, feed the poor, do good to your neighbor and pray while people sleep so you will enter heaven in peace’ “. (ANSA).
