New agreement in the Balkan area between ANSA and the Fena agency

A new agreement of international partnership with the FENA Agency, signed in the presence of the Italian Ambassador in Bosnia and Herzegovina Marco Di Ruzza after the International Conference of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) which took place in Sarajevo, increases the portfolio of strategic collaborations of the ANSA Agency in the Balkans area.
The partnership provides for the exchange between the Agencies of their respective information content in English; the partners will therefore be able to use their respective services for editorial use and will be able to develop joint commercial offers to their customers – media, institutions and companies – in their respective countries.
The Ambassador of Italy to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Marco Di Ruzza, expressed his satisfaction for having hosted the signing ceremony of the agreement in the diplomatic headquarters, helping to give media visibility and at the same time institutional impact to the initiative. “The dynamism and intensity of bilateral relations between Italy and Bosnia-Herzegovina – so Di Ruzza – make this partnership very coherent and appropriate, which can pave the way for interesting potential synergies between the two countries, too. beyond the mere journalistic-professional collaboration between the two press agencies concerned. I remember, in this regard, that Italian culture and made in Italy are highly appreciated in this country and the promotional events offered by this Embassy to the Bosnian-Herzegovinian public, especially with regard to the major thematic axes of Italian language, design, cinema, cuisine, etc., they enjoy considerable success and media coverage. Significantly, the MAECI has planned the opening of an Italian Cultural Institute in Sarajevo precisely in the light of its character strategic position of our cultural diplomacy on the spot. At the same time, Italy is a key economic player in BiH, as demonstrated by the primacy acquired in el 2021 as the first exporter country and the vast and articulated network of Italian companies operating on this market, perfectly integrated in the most diverse production sectors “. On this last point, the Ambassador recalled the recent launch of the new “Association of Italian companies in BiH”, a platform for aggregation of Italian companies in BiH set up with the support of the Embassy. “The initiative – he stressed – aims to increase the overall projection of the Italian system in the country but also to propitiate the further strengthening of the bilateral economic dialogue”.
ANSA CEO Stefano De Alessandri underlines the importance of the agreement reached: “the new partnership completes the framework of international collaborations activated by ANSA with the major information agencies in the Balkan area, a fundamental element of our international strategy which provides for achievement of a capillary network of partnerships all over the world. The goal is to have and make available more and more complete and articulated information at an international level and, at the same time, to have the possibility of developing joint commercial projects in the various countries concerned “.
For Elmir Huremovic Director General of FENA: “News from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy will find a place in our reports and, in this way, we will increase the chances of a better connection between our countries and their economies” said Huremović. He added that he was particularly pleased that the agreement was signed following the success of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) conference in Sarajevo and that he is looking forward to future cooperation.
