(ANSA) – CATANZARO, 13 JUN – With the counting still in progress – according to the data of the Interior Ministry, the cards in 2 sections out of 92 have been scrutinized – the projections confirm, however, that the ballot round of 26 June will be necessary to know who will be the new mayor of Catanzaro between Valerio Donato and Nicola Fiorita. According to the projection of the Opinio Italia consortium for Rai, Donato, a civic candidate supported by the center-right (Lega and Fi but without party symbols) is 43.7% while Fiorita, supported by the Pd, M5S and other center-left forces, is at 31.1%. According to the same data – with a coverage of the sample of 42% – the coalition in support of Donato, made up of 10 lists, obtains the majority with 52.7% while the center-left is at 25.8%.
