Thirteen ballots (in 7 the center-left is ahead, in 6 the center-right), 9 mayors already in the center-right (even if in Messina it is the civic list), 4 in the center-left: this is so far the photograph of the outcome of the first round of the 2022 Municipalities, net of the counting still in progress late in the evening.
The strongest impact on the geography of political affiliations closely affects the 4 regional capitals that went to the vote, with the center-right reconfirming in the first round in L’Aquila, with Pierluigi Biondi, and in Genoa with Marco Bucci, but above all succeeding in enterprise to wrest the city of Palermo from the center-left, with Roberto Lagalla. A sharp four to zero in the event that Valerio Donato were to succeed in winning the ballot against Catanzaro. The most evident result for the center-left is that of Lodi with Andrea Furegato who tore the Municipality from the center-right.
