In the last few hours the absence of the center-right has been looming from the vote of confidence in the Senate chamber, but the lack of two such important forces in the balance of national unity could not be ignored by the premier.
In an atmosphere of extreme confusion and disorder (it is told of a violent clash between the two blue Gelmini and Ronzulli) there remains the possibility of a split of the 5s, which would bring the votes of confidence on the Casini resolution beyond the threshold of 170, making Draghi rise. al Colle still with a majority, useful to make it a resigning government but still in the fullness of powers in loose chambers, as there have been in the past.
