With the approach of the political elections, the forms of interference by “some state actors” in the “democratic processes of Western countries” become “even more intense and accentuated”. Copasir president Adolfo Urso writes this in a letter, which ANSA was able to view, sent to the presidents of the Chamber and Senate before the government crisis.

Urso pointed out in particular the risk of hacking the parliamentary mail, as happened in the past in the German Bundestag. Hence the invitation to Fico and Casellati to evaluate “technical and organizational measures aimed at countering the possible occurrence of such circumstances even in the case of the Italian Parliament”.
