The Agcom Council has found in several cases a deviation from the parameters set by the rules in the examination of the first monitoring data (period 22 July-2 August) of the electoral campaign. The Authority has addressed a call to all radio and television broadcasters so that full application of the par condicio law is guaranteed, also having regard to gender representation.
The Authority also reminded Rai, in relation to the matter relating to the press review of Tg1 of 3 August, to guarantee the correctness and impartiality of the information with specific regard to the role of the conductors.
The two measures – informs a note from the Authority – were approved unanimously. The newspapers concerned will have to mention these measures.
