The isolation requirement for corona infected people will also be lifted in North Rhine-Westphalia on February 1st. This was announced by the NRW Ministry of Health on Wednesday.
This ends the previous requirement to isolate yourself at home for five days in the event of a corona infection.
According to the ministry, all isolations that were started on the basis of the current Corona regulation will automatically end at the end of January 31st. In NRW, the mask requirement in local public transport will also expire on February 1st.
The vast majority of the federal states had already lifted the corona isolation requirement or decided to take this step on February 1st. (dpa)
