Sassoli died: when Fiorello made him do the wave on Tg1

David Sassoli’s was a nice and familiar face for the Rai audience. Memorable the curtain in which Fiorello, in 2006, made him wave from the desk of Tg1.
In connection with the Rai headquarters in Via Asiago, Fiorello and Marco Baldini were about to air with Viva la Radio in TV format, in the wake of the great success of Viva Radio2. Sassoli, in operation, emphasized from the Tg1 studio the wait for the broadcast and for a guest, a great TV personality in flesh and blood, while Mike Bongiorno, crouched at the feet of Fiorello and Baldini, slowly got up and down, appearing and disappearing from the frame.
At the end, Fiorello’s extravagant request to get out of the sacredness of Tg1 “and give a moment of good humor to the whole nation”. Smiling, Sassoli volunteered to wave, immediately after Fiorello and Baldini. The sketch ended with a new appearance of Mike and his signature expression “Joy”.
