(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 13 – LeBron James protagonist in the night’s matches in the NBA, for better or for worse. The Akron champion scored 26 points for the Lakers in the Golden State Warriors match and thus became the best scorer in the history of the professional basketball championship, adding the points scored in the regular season and the playoffs, in front of a legend like Kareem Abdul -Jabbar. James scored 44,157 points (36,526 in the regular season and 7,631 in the playoffs) against Jabbar’s 44,149 points (38,387 and 5,762).
Unfortunately for the Lakers, however, the champion missed a decisive free throw at the edge of the siren giving the victory for 117-115 to the Warriors, who had returned from two consecutive defeats but remain the second team of the West Conference. At the top there are always the Phoenix Suns, who overwhelmed Orlando 132-105 for the fifth win in a row.
Same row for the Grizzlies, who won 125-118 in Charlotte and remain the third force in the West. Despite Doncic’s 45 points, the match in Texas with the Los Angeles Clippers ended with a 97-99 home defeat in Dallas.
In the East, Miami continues to lead the way, inflicting the eleventh consecutive defeat on the Booklyn Nets. In the last quarter, Irving brought his team to -1 but then missed the decisive overtaking on an opponent who saw his entire quintet in double digits. Leaving Brooklyn, Harden saw the Sixers beat Cleveland 103-93 thanks to the performance of Embiid, who scored 40 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.
