(ANSA) – ROME, FEBRUARY 22 – Antonio Conte has chosen social media, with an ironic post that appeared on his Instagram profile, to reply to Pep Guardiola who, after the home defeat of his Manchester City against Tottenham, had defined the Spurs a team of counter-attackers. An analysis evidently disliked by the Italian coach who wanted to reply by publishing a video of his team’s three goals at the Etihad stadium, accompanied by an eloquent caption, complete with smiley faces: “Counterattack? Probably not ..”. In fact, all the Spurs networks, both the initial one by Dejan Kulusevski and the two in the final by Harry Kane, came at the end of maneuvered actions. But it is also true that Guardiola’s comment referred to the tactical approach followed by Tottenham in the 90 ‘and not only specifically for individual actions.
