(ANSA) – CATANIA, 07 MAR – Extension of the provisional exercise from 7 “to 17 March to evaluate the further possibility of liquidation of the characteristic branch of the football company of the Calcio Catania Spa company” declared bankrupt in December 2021. It is the decision of the bankruptcy section of the Court of the Etna capital. On March 4th, the second auction that followed that of February 11th went deserted, even the one without participants.
The telematic sale, set by the three curators appointed by the Court section, includes “multi-year rights to the performances of the players; structure and organization of the youth sector; tangible fixed assets; clothing, store merchandise, plates, cups and trophies; two registered trademarks”. The sporting title, which cannot be transferred to third parties, but can only be attributed by the FIGC to a different company in the presence of the requisites required by federal regulations, is not part of the procedure.
