(ANSA) – LISBON, MAR 17 – There are the ‘Italians’ Rui Patricio of Roma and Rafael Leao of Milan in the list of 25 called up by Portugal coach Fernando Santos for next week’s world play-offs, in which the Lusitanians will face on Thursday 24th in Porto Turkey and, if successful, on the 29th again in Porto the winner between Italy and North Macedonia.
Santos’ list is missing the injured Nelson Semedo, Ruben Dias and Renato Sanches, and in their place the coach called Cédric, Gonçalo Inácio and Raphaël Guerreiro. There is also Joao Cancelo, who will not be able to play against the Turks as he is disqualified. But the coach then plans to relaunch him in the event of a match against the Azzurri or the Macedonians.
