(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, MARCH 26 – “We see that this disease is very courageous to go back to facing someone like me. I’m here, if the first lesson wasn’t enough, we’ll give him another one”. Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic said this in a press conference convened a couple of hours earlier, at the Bologna Calcio technical center, announcing that he will have to stop to follow a therapy, to avoid the risk of the leukemia that had struck him in the 2019.
“It is the path of life, made up of descents, climbs, straights and curves. Sometimes you encounter sudden holes, you can fall, but there is the strength to get up and take the path”, he said, explaining that from at the beginning of next week he will have to take time off from training to be admitted to the Sant’Orsola hospital: “I know I’m in excellent hands”.
