(ANSA) – ROME, MARCH 27 – Stefano Peroni on Martini Mk 32 BMW of 5th Raggruppamento won the 56th Consumer Cup, opening round of the 2022 Italian Historic Car Climb Championship. Simone Faggioli on Norma M20 FC Zytek has won the 1st Consuma Trophy, a competition that opened the Italian Center for Mountain Speed Trophy. Fazzino on Osella in Sortino wins the first of TIVM sud.
Faggioli won with an extraordinary time of 4’53 “13 and Peroni won with 5’27” 06, along the legendary 12.3 Km between Palaie and Pelago. The race organized by the Automobile Club Firenze through its subsidiary Acipromoglie, in collaboration with the Scuderia Clemente Biondetti, saw the return of the general public to the embankments on either side of the track.
The multiple titled driver from Bagno a Ripoli together with the team has perfectly brought the two-seater group E2SC back to its maximum potential, after the after-effects of a touch he had in practice.
