(ANSA) – UDINE, MARCH 28 – Udinese announced that it has registered the Austrian half-back, naturalized Slovenian, Sandi Lovric who turns 24 today. He signed a contract until 30 June 2027. A flexible midfielder – explains the club on its website -, Lovric can play in front of the defense but also in a more advanced position or as a midfielder, thanks to his technical quality and good predisposition to finish at the net.
After the youth teams in Sturm Graz, at the age of 16, in the 2014/2015 season, he made his debut in the first team and made eight appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga. In the 18/19 season he made his Champions League debut with Graz but in the summer of 2019 he moved to Lugano, where he plays continuously, scoring five goals and distributing eight assists. Numbers confirmed also in the following seasons for Lovric, who chose to wear the Slovenian national team shirt of which he became a staple by taking the field nineteen times and scoring three goals, including two in recent world qualifiers.
