Giro Handbike: first stage in Bari and pink jersey in Giagnoni

(ANSA) – BARI, 03 APR – The first of the seven Italian stages of the twelfth edition of the ‘Giro Handbike’ took place in Bari, starting from the Lungomare, dedicated to three-wheeled vehicles powered by arms, also open to able-bodied athletes . The pink jersey was won by Cristian Giagnoni, para-cyclist and former hockey champion, already winner of the Giro d’Italia Handbike from 2016 to 2019. On the podium with him the athletes Mirko Testa and Mirko de Cortes. 63 people from all over Italy participated in the Bari stage: ‘Bari rides without barriers’ the slogan chosen for the event.
