(ANSA) – PARMA, 04 APR – The corporate meeting of Zebre Rugby Club was held at the Citadel of Rugby in Parma in the presence of the president of the Italian Rugby Federation Marzio Innocenti, as legal representative of the Franchise Sole Shareholder.
During the discussion, the stay in Parma of the federal franchise was confirmed at least until 30 June 2023 and therefore the hypotheses of moving the Zebras to other locations, such as Padua or Rome, are dropped. In addition, the new corporate structure was approved, and the resignation of the board of directors and of the CEO Carlo Checchinato was accepted, who will return to full capacity in the federation while continuing to cover his role as commercial director.
Michele Dalai was subsequently appointed Sole Director, who will be supported by an external board of consultants for administrative and management support. Franco Tonni will continue to carry out the role of consultant for the team’s technical area. (HANDLE).
