(ANSA-AFP) – ROME, APRIL 06 – An off-pitch victory for Inter defender Stefan De Vrij. The Dutch central had sued his old agency of prosecutors following the figures, then officially revealed, requested as a commission for his transfer from Lazio to Inter on a free transfer.
De Virj argued that the 7.5 million euros requested and received by the SEG at the time to bring him to Milan forced Inter to lower his current salary. In fact, the defender asked the Court for compensation because the agency did not intervene in the operation with the aim of favoring him in the negotiations, but to favor itself.
Today the court of Amsterdam confirmed that De Vrij’s request was valid and sentenced the SEG to pay him a sum of 4.75 million euros (still less than the 10 million requested, but very large). (ANSA-AFP).
