(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 09 – Modena continues its march towards promotion to Serie B, first in the standings in Group B of Serie C, but it does so thanks to a super-feat of its goalkeeper. Riccardo Gagno, in fact, gives success to the canaries in the 46th minute of the second half, sending the ball back from his own area and surprising his fellow opponent Rossi from Imolese, surprised out of goal and who sees the ball stuffed into his own net. The guests, on the ground of the Braglia, had drew just at the end of the 90 ‘with Liviero, after having gone under on the 24’ – also of the second half – for Pergreffi’s goal. In the end the feat of the goalkeeper Gagno decides who has caught the guest goalkeeper in backlash and overcame him, signing the 2-1 that allowed Attilio Tesser’s team to reach 84 points in the standings, against 80 of Reggiana, who always won 2-1, but in Fermo.
Two games from the end of the regular season, the two Emilian teams are divided by 4 points: next Thursday 14 April, Modena will be on stage in Gubbio (9 pm), while Reggiana will host Virtus Entella (9 pm) and is obliged to win. (HANDLE).
