League B for the ‘National Sports vs Bullying Day’

(ANSA) – ROME, APRIL 22 – The Serie B football league is still alongside ‘Mabasta’. The organization, with President Mauro Balata at the forefront, celebrates the 2nd edition of the ‘National Sports vs Bullying Day’, which will take place on 7 and 8 May.

He will do so during the 36th round of the championship, scheduled for April 25, during the Lecce-Pisa match, with the Salento team that will also participate in the two days of May with 34 other national Federations. So it will still be up to Serie B to launch the initiative, after the great success of last year in which ‘Mabasta’ managed to involve great sports personalities and many young people, facing an unfortunately current problem that affects many young people. A bet, that of the 1st edition, won by the LNPB which, as Balata states, sensing the urgency of the topic and the seriousness of the project, decided to focus on a real social startup, giving full availability to support. “Bullying is an evil of our time, which risks causing considerable damage to people’s lives – says Balata -. Fighting this phenomenon is a duty for a league like ours that thinks of young people, understands their needs and intervenes on frailties. “. ‘Mabasta’ is animated by student-adolescents and has been operating since 2016. The boys who animate it are between 14 and 17 years old and it is the first movement that operates from below, created by boys and aimed at young people.

This year ‘Mabasta’ is the only European representative among the 10 finalists in the ‘Global Student Prize’, a Nobel Prize for the most ‘impactful’ students. For the occasion, posts will be made on the social channels of Lega B to raise awareness of the issue, as well as a message from the stadium speakers to the fans. (HANDLE).
