F1: Imola; Leclerc “it’s raining, it’s important to start on the right foot”

(ANSA) – IMOLA, APRIL 22 – With the rain “it is important to start the weekend on the right foot to develop the car in these conditions”. Charles Leclerc, Ferrari driver at the top of the World Championship after three GPs and ready to give his best in the Imola Grand Prix, says so.

For the Monegasque “it is still too early to say whether we are favorites for the victory”. In any case, his opinion is positive on the format that includes the sprint race, with qualifying today and tomorrow the 100-kilometer minigp. “I really like Fridays like this, I find that the ‘normal’ Friday is boring. For Saturday you can do something better, maybe an independent race from the one on Sunday”. Also happy for the renewal of his teammate Sainz: “A great driver and a great guy, it’s important to both work in the same direction. Now we can work in the long term, it’s great.” (HANDLE).
