These are some of the phrases that the president of the Italian Volleyball Federation (Fipav), Giuseppe Manfredi, addressed to the Ukrainian athletes hosted in the Pavesi Federal Center in Milan. Accompanied in the visit by the general secretary, Stefano Bellotti, Manfredi was able to interact with the group of people who arrived in Italy in recent weeks and reaffirm the commitment made by Fipav in providing concrete help to all of them.
The president also had a telephone conversation with the president of the Ukrainian volleyball federation, Mykhailo Melnyk, to whom he reiterated the federation’s full support for the Ukrainian community and expressed the utmost solidarity and closeness to him and the Ukrainian people.
