(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 04 – Fifa has announced that the playoffs, or play-offs, for the last places at the World Cup in Qatar, those between national teams from different continental areas, will all be played in a single match, from 7 to June 14 at the Ahmad bin Ali stadium in Al Rayyan.
Specifically, the match between Australia and the United Arab Emirates will be played on the 7th, while the match between the winner of this match and Peru is scheduled for June 13th. The day after, however, Costa Rica and New Zealand will take the field, another match that will assign a place in the world championship tournament.
It also remains to assign a place to a European, and in this regard it was recalled that the ‘semi-final’ of the play-off of the European qualifiers between Scotland and Ukraine will be played on 1 June in Glasgow (Hampden Park). The winner of this match will play on 5 June in Cardiff with Wales. (HANDLE).
