I did GP3 and some F2 races but my mind was already focused on a sports career in the USA. “As a driver what I like is competing to win. In Formula 1 I will never have a chance to be in a team that fights for victories, there are only two so I prefer to continue in the IndyCar, fighting to win races and titles … I’d rather be here for 10 or 15 years fighting to win than spend two years suffering in Formula 1”, He concluded.
