(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, MAY 22 – The British Lee Grantham, born in 1983, is the winner of the 100 kilometers of the Passatore, returning after three years to his classic form starting from Florence and arriving in Faenza. Grantham crossed the line in 7 hours, 3 minutes and 29 seconds, completing a race carried out for the most part alone when, between Borgo San Lorenzo and Passo della Colla di Casaglia he took the lead. More than a quarter of an hour away from Massimo Giacopuzzi (US Dolomitica). Giorgio Calcaterra (Calcaterra Sport Asd) closes the podium, third twenty minutes late from Giacopuzzi.
To win the female category Eleonora Rachele Corradini (Grottini Team Recanati Asd) with a time of 8 hours, 29 minutes and 7 seconds, 12 / m absolute, followed 4 minutes behind by Cecilia Flori (Asd Atl Villa Guglielmi) and, detached almost 44 minutes, Elena Fabiani (Grottini Team Recanati Asd) to close the podium. Of the more than three thousand members, 2,856 left. The oldest to cross the finish line in good time was the 82-year-old Nicola Argo Gaetani, born in 1939, while the youngest athlete is Francesco Saverio Torquati, from 2001. (ANSA).
