Football: national interest players at work in Coverciano

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 25 – The first part of the three days of work for the players of national interest summoned to Coverciano by the coach ended with a match in opposing ranks, on the ‘Enzo Bearzot’ field of the Federal Technical Center, Roberto Mancini.

After yesterday afternoon’s training, the first working group then closed their meeting with a thirty-minute timed ‘family challenge’: all 24 players available to the blue staff took to the field, including Edoardo Pierozzi (Alessandria) and Alessio Zerbin (Frosinone), who had reached Coverciano last night. Matteo Gabbia was not present, who left the meeting early for personal reasons. The match ended 2-1 with goals from Salcedo (Spezia) which were answered for the other team by Gatti (Frosinone) and Zortea (Salernitana).

The meeting will continue today with the second working group, and then finish tomorrow at the end of the training scheduled for the morning. (HANDLE).
