The second free practice session in the Moto3 class of the Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello circuit saw Jaume Masia (Ktm) win with a time of 1’57 ” 134. The Spaniard beat the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki (Husquarna) and Tatsuki Suzuki (Honda) in the order of 608 and 641 thousandths. The two drivers at the top of the time standings, together with Elia Bartolini from Cesena, were the protagonists of a spectacular accident at the Correntaio curve.
