(ANSA) – CROTONE, 29 MAY – Crotone has exonerated the coach Francesco Modesto, terminating in advance the contractual relationship with the coach that should have lasted another year. The company’s decision was widely expected after relegation to Serie C.
The news of the exemption was released with a press release in which the company thanks Modesto “for his commitment” and wishes him “good luck for the continuation of his career”.
According to forecasts, to succeed Modesto on the Crotone bench should be Franco Lerda, who has already coached the Calabrian team in Serie B during the 2009-2010 season, obtaining a ninth place in the final standings of the championship.
The announcement of the company’s agreement with Lerda could arrive as early as next week. (HANDLE).
