(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 01 – After having raised the Champions League with Real Madrid on Saturday evening, this morning Antonio Pintus was informed that he is the winner of the Golden Cronometer as the best athletic trainer of Serie A for the 2020 season / 21; an award he obtained from the FIGC technical sector – according to the opinion of the same colleagues, who expressed themselves with an online vote – for the last championship in which he was on the technical staff of Inter. “I am very honored, and also excited, for this recognition – commented Pintus -. This award is important, because it is awarded by your colleagues. It is a title to be shared with the Inter staff”.
In the ranking, behind Pintus, who received 10 votes, were Paolo Barbero (last season at Verona, currently in Turin, with 6 preferences) and Matteo Osti of Milan, who received 4 votes.
The trainers of the other two professional championships, Serie B and C 2020/21, were also awarded. Fabio Trentin received the Silver Chronometer for Serie B, last year at Venice, then promoted to the top flight. The bronze chronometer, for the best athletic trainer of the Serie C 2020/21 went to Alberto Bartali from Ternana.
