At via Mundianapoli in Ferrara and Cannavaro for children

(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUN 08 – The seventh edition of Mundianapoli starts tomorrow in Naples, the youth football tournament promoted by the Cannavaro Ferrara Foundation in collaboration with the Arci Uisp Scampia football school, aimed at promoting sport as an educational, integrating resource and social redemption. The initiative – reserved for budding footballers, belonging to the 1st year beginners category born in 2010 – involves various districts of the city of Naples through the participation of 8 teams distributed in two groups for the adhesion of about 150 young athletes. The teams in the seventh edition competing for the title, each of 8 players, are: Arci Scampia, SSC Napoli, Calcio Petrarca, Real Poggio, ASD Materdei, OBP Fuorigrotta, NTS Giovanni, and M. Perna.

The teams that will qualify first and second in their groups will arrive at the final, which will be held at the Arci Scampia Sports Center in Naples on 18 June. Fabio and Paolo Cannavaro, as well as Ciro and Vincenzo Ferrara make the Mundianapoli a training experience for young athletes, with the aim of transmitting to them the enthusiasm of living a healthy competition, according to the true principles of sport.
