Nations League: France no longer wins, blow Croatia

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 13 – Another misstep for France in the Nations League. The national team coached by Didier Deschamps lost 1-0 in the match against Croatia. The match was decided by a penalty by Modric, who scored in the 5 ‘of the first half. This is the second defeat in four Nations League games for the Blues. The world champions and reigning champions in the Nations League – too passive and close to drawing only in the final – are last in their group with just 2 points and are arithmetically out of the final four. Leading the group is Denmark, victorious against Austria thanks to the Wind-Skov Olsen duo.

“This month of June was difficult and complicated. We didn’t have enough energy against teams that had more than us – the words of Deschamps on French TV at the end of the match – There are always lessons to be learned”.

In League B 2-2 between Israel and Iceland while Kazakhstan (2-1 to Slovakia) and Azerbaijan (2-0 to Belarus) win. (HANDLE).
