The announcement comes from John Thorrington, co-president and general manager of Los Angeles FC, one of the two teams from the Californian metropolis that play in the North American MLS.
Los Angeles is currently at the top of the ‘regular season’ standings, with 29 points in 14 games and Chiellini could make his debut in his new team in the derby against ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez’s LA Galaxy on July 8th.
