Tennis: Sinner’s Cahill supercoach is the coach of the champions

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 18 – The supercoach of champions for Jannik Sinner. In the hunt for the climb to the world rankings, the tennis blue, in the days of returning to the field after the knee injury that forced him to retire in the round of 16 at Roland Garros against Andrey Rublev, chose to be followed by Darren Cahill. The Australian, a world-famous technco, was in fact spotted on the lawns of Eastbourne, stage of the ATP circuit that precedes Wimbledon, together with Sinner’s staff. He is the highly experienced guide Sinner has been looking for for some time, a role for which the names of John McEnroe and Boris Becker had been made in the past. Cahill doesn’t have the popularity of those superstars but he is coach of number one, including Hewitt, Agassi and Halep and now joins Sinner’s team. He will work alongside Simone Vagnozzi in the Sesto Pusteria talent growth project. The new physical trainer, Umberto Ferrara, has also been confirmed. (HANDLE).
