Rowing: Cdm pararowing; gold and silver for Italy in Poznan

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 19 – Italy wins two other medals, one gold and one silver, in the Poznan Rowing World Cup, in the pararowing specialties. Added at three o’clock yesterday they raise the Italian booty to five seals.

The gold came from Giacomo Perini who, in the men’s single PR1, dominated his race from the very first shovelfuls, putting behind him athletes of the caliber of the Australian champion Erik Horrie, silver at the Tokyo Paralympics, and the German Markus Klemp, bronze in the specialty at the 2021 European Championships in Varese. The silver medal was won by the four with PR3 Misto, by Luca Conti, Tommaso Schettino, Ludovica Tramontin, Greta Elizabeth Muti and Emanuele Capponi at the helm. (HANDLE).
