(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 22 – The renewal of Chelsea continues.
Marina Granovskaia, Roman Abramovich’s right arm at the Blues, is no longer the sporting director, a position that has been entrusted to Todd Boehly, appointed president today, on an interim basis. However, the club has announced that the manager “will remain available to Boehly for the duration of the current transfer window, to the extent necessary to support the transition”.
Granovskaia – who has been a member of the board of directors since 2013, then the managing director and manager of the technical area – will also follow the very last stages of the agreement for Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter and will be able to lend a hand in reaching some of the transfer market objectives of the London team, among which are Jules Kounde, Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele.
