Football: Lega B assembly unanimously approves the 2022/23 budget

(ANSA) – ROME, June 23 – The Lega Serie B assembly met in Milan under the presidency of Mauro Balata who welcomed the new clubs that will participate in the next championship which, he stressed, “will see a widespread distribution territorial in the country united also from the football point of view “.

The assembly, according to the League itself, unanimously approved the 2022/2023 budget, “once again characterized by cost optimization, improved resource efficiency and new investments aimed at generating revenues”. Furthermore, for the first time, the budget is presented a few months earlier than in the past and will be continuously monitored, to protect the clubs, during the season. Also unanimously adopted “an innovative and objective instrumental survey for the evaluation of the pitches” which, as Balata recalled, are “the visiting card for the club, both from a television point of view and for the public, and it constitutes a protection for the health of the athletes as well as a guarantee of spectacularity of the game “.

The playoff and playout format already in force in recent seasons and the five substitutions per game have been confirmed.

Finally, the two groups, of 16, of the Primavera 2 championship have been defined according to geographical criteria. (ANSA).
