(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 26 – As per tradition, the holder of the trophy Novak Djokovic will inaugurate the Central court, tomorrow afternoon, during the first day of the Wimbledon tournament.
On the grass of the Centrale will follow the challenges Alison Van Uytvanck-Emma Raducanu and Andy Murray-James Duckworth.
Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, in his second appearance at Wimbledon, will play on field number 1. against German Jan-Lennard Struff. On the field n. 2 Jannik Sinner will face the Swiss Stan Wawrinka and, on the n. 17, the American Frances Tiafoe will cross the racket with Andrea Vavassori, coming from the qualifiers. The blue derby between Martina Trevisan and Elisabetta Cocciaretto will be staged in the women’s draw, on field 4. (HANDLE).
