(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 28 – The Federal Council of the FIGC, in today’s meeting, approved both the championship dates for next season and the changes required to make the rule of five substitutions definitive – with the additional sixth in the races which provide for extra time – and to introduce the play-off match to assign the championship in the case of equal points in the standings between two teams at the end of the Serie A championship, with penalties, without extra time, in the event of a tie in the 90 ‘ .
These are the official dates of the championships for the 2022/2023 season: Serie A, 14 August / 4 June; Serie B, 13 August / 19 May; Serie C, August 28 / April 23; Women’s Serie A, 27 August / 28 May; Serie B, 18 September / 28 May; Amateurs, September 4th / May.
The Board then approved the provisions for the participation of the second teams of Serie A clubs in the Serie C championship. The deadline for any repechage requests is set for 19 July. In conclusion, the Figc Agents Regulation has been definitively aligned with the relevant CONI Regulation, with particular reference to Article 22 which applies to the institution of domiciliation.
