(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 01 JUL – There are five referees who have been alternated by Can for the 2022-23 season: they are Eugenio Abbattista (Molfetta), Antonio di Martino (Teramo), Ivan Robilotta (Sala Consolina), Piero Giacomelli (Trieste) and Fabrizio Pasqua (Tivoli), the first three – explains the note from The Hague – ” for justified technical evaluations ”, the last two ” for disciplinary measures ”: Easter, 40 years old, was one of the two A referees involved in the refund case and disqualified last July.
” For me it is not a beautiful day having had to dispose of some former colleague between referees and assistants – commented today in Coverciano Gianluca Rocchi, fresh from his first season as designator of Can A and B – I understand the trauma and disappointment but how I told all of them the important thing is to leave well. The choices made were technical, autonomous and transparent.
We have tried to keep in the group only referees who for next year will guarantee us to be better and more and more prepared. Apart from a few errors, we can say that we did not affect the results of last season. We take responsibility for mistakes but it is enough to talk about referees always in a negative way. ” (HANDLE).
